"Z"

Zero : A bettable number available in the game of roulette.

Zero double zero (0,00) : Zero & Double Zero 'split' is a betting choice only available on roulette in casinos based in the USA as most other casino's found throughout the world use a different roulette wheel known as a 'european wheel', it's numbers are situated in entirely different positions yet still pays the same amount for our basic bets like outside even money bets and even splits, straight ups, corners, streets even six lines.

The 'european roulette wheel' offers far better odds due to the fact that it has one number less but still pays the same as it's 'american roulette wheel' counterpart.

Courtesy bets are also available to players on the US wheel on the line that separates the second and third dozen, it lets players place the popular zero double zero bet with more ease. The bet when split (0,00) pays 17-1 as do all other split bets on roulette.

The european version of the wheel can now be found in some Las Vegas casinos but they are few and far between due to the casino operators preferring the larger win percentages.
