"W"
Wager : A 'Bet' , the event of placing an item of worth then making a predicted guess at the outcome of a random event.
Walking Sticks : A pair of sevens in card games.
Wall : The opposite end of the dice table where the shooter is encouraged to throw the dice against in order to complete a roll. Also 'Crocodile'
Wash : The process of initially mixing the cards face down prior to the regular shuffle.
Washing Cards : Performing the wash as above.
Whale : A Gambler that places large bets on a regular basis. Also 'Hi-Roller' ,'VIP'
Wild : A symbol or card that can be substituted for what ever the user chooses.
Wild Card : A card that can be substituted for any other card of the owners choice.
WSOP : Short term for the World Series of Poker.
Working :A term used to describe the current status of a bet when a bet is said to be working it means that it has 'action' and is ON and therefore still has a chance to either win or lose as the bet is still active. A bet can also be called OFF or not working.
