Odds : The pay out rate at which one gets paid depending on what is bet.
OFF : Indicating that a bet is “Off” means that it does not have action for a specified throw of the Dice also known as not ‘ working’.
Omaha poker : A poker game that is played with five community cards.
ON : When a bet is “ON” it is said to be ‘working’ and as such stands a chance to win or lose.
One Eyed Jacks : In a deck of 52 cards two of the Jacks have only one eye showing, that is the Jack of spades and Jack of Clubs.
One Roll Bets : Bets in craps that only as the name suggests stay up for one roll these bets are called ‘proposition bets‘ and include all the ‘horn bet‘ variations as well as any ‘call bets‘.
Open : In poker means to ‘qualify’ with the established minimum hand or higher which varies from game to game.
Open ended straight : A poker straight than can be achieved with more than one card i.e. 4,5,6,7 either an 8 or a 3 will give the player a straight.
Orphans : Are a bet combination available on European roulette games that include 1, 6/9, 14/17, 17/20 and 31/34 the orphan bet uses 5 pieces to place and can also be called orphelins.
Outside Bets : All roulette bets that pay either 1-1 or 2-1 which include the even money bets 1-18, 19-36, Odd, Even, Red, Black and the Dozens 1-12, 13-24, 25-36 and the three vertical columns.
In craps the 4,10,5,9 are considered outside bets too.
Overlay : A bet in which the player has the ‘edge‘ over the ‘house’ (casino).
